SHRI RAMESWAR TELI Hon’ble Union Minister of State, Ministry of Petroleum & Natural
Gas and Labour & Employment visited Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL)
Manali Refinery on 21.02.2024. The Hon’ble Minister was received by Shri Arvind Kumar,
Managing Director in presence of Shri H Shankar, Director (Technical),
Shri P.Kannan, Director (Operations), Shri Rohit Kumar Agrawala, Director (Finance) and
other senior officials of CPCL. During presentation on CPCL’s performance, Hon’ble
Minister evinced keen interest in the operations and future growth projects of CPCL and
appreciated the efforts of CPCL.
During his visit inside the refinery complex, the Hon’ble Minister inaugurated “Supply of
LEAN BUTENE” (New Petrochemical Feedstock) from CPCL Refinery to Manali
downstream Industries. The commissioning of the supply of Lean Butene will enable
CPCL’s Manali Refinery to supply additional Butene to Manali downstream Industries on
a continuous and sustainable basis, generating additional revenue for CPCL and
reflecting our commitment to innovation and efficiency in operations.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister commended the hard work and dedicated efforts
of the CPCL towards Nation Building.
