Independence day was celebrated in a solemn function at Chennai petroleum Corporation Limited’s (CPCL) Manali Refinery complex on today morning 15/08/2021. Shri. Rajeev Ailawadi, Director(Finance) and MD i/c CPCL, unfurled the National flag and took salute from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) contingent stationed at CPCL.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri. Rajeev Ailawadi recalled the innumerable sacrifices of our forefathers in the struggle for an Independent India.
He also recalled the mantra of our Hon’ble PM “Bharat jodo andolan” (Unite India Movement) which every Indian must lead just like Gandhiji’s “Bharat choro andolan” (Quit India movement).
He complimented all the Officers and workmen who have risen to achieve the challenges in most difficult circumstances and informed that CPCL’s physical performance during the year 20-21 was very good in spite of pandemic situation and resultant restrictions.
He also appreciated the employees for ensuring continuous supply of essential items such as LPG, MS and HSD to the market.
