Fire Service Day function was conducted on 18th April 2022 at CPCL Manali Refinery.

14th April 2022 was observed as “MARTYR’S DAY”, on the theme ‘Learn Fire Safety, Increase Productivity’. Shri Arvind Kumar, Managing Director in his message urged all the employees including all stake holders, contract personnel to follow Safety procedures and achieve our target of ‘Zero Incident’ & participate in all the safety related activities.

Shri. S Krishnan, Director (Operations) paid homage to the gallant fire fighters of Bombay Dock Yard Fire on 14th April 1944 who laid down their lives in the performance of their duty. He administered Fire Services Day Pledge to employees, CISF personnel present on the occasion.

Smt. Priya Ravichandran, Jt. Director, Tamil Nadu Fire & Rescue Services was the Chief Guest for the function. In her key note address she stressed upon importance of conducting Fire & Safety training for employees, stake holders & common public. She emphasized importance of creating awareness about fire safety. She presented the prizes to the winners of various competitions, which were held during fire service week.

At the outset, Shri T.N.K Bapiraju, CGM (Technical) welcomed the Chief Guest & other dignitaries for function and the audience.

Shri. S.Krishnan, Director (Operations) administered the Fire Services Pledge and released the trilingual pamphlet on Fire Safety.

Shri H Shankar, Director (Technical) appreciated the efforts taken by F&S dept. employees to control and eliminate incidents which can cause loss of property & injury to personnel.
