CPCL participated in the MSME Connect 2023 – a Vendor Development Program cum Exhibition of Products on 3rd and 4th March 2023 organised by MSME Development and Facilitation Office, Chennai and FaME TN, a MSME Dept of Government of Tamil Nadu at Guindy Industrial Estate, Chennai.

The meet was well participated by various Public Sector enterprises like CPCL, Airports Authority of India, NLCIL, Andrew Yule, FEIO, Integral Coach Factory, Southern Railways, Chennai Port Trust, CMRL Madras Fertilizers Ltd, Balmer Lawrie & Co Ltd, Customs Dept and prospective MSE vendors. The objective of this meet was to establish a connecting platform between the buyer organisations and the MSE vendors in order to boost up the procurement from MSE segment. The Public Sector Enterprises showcased their requirement from MSEs. There was also a session on GeM to create awareness among MSEs for vendor onboarding to enhance their market access.

CPCL had set up an exclusive stall showcasing the various products and requirements which were in the scope of supply of the MSE vendors. Around 300 vendors actively visited CPCL stall to learn about the requirements of CPCL and expressed confidence towards on boarding in GeM , CPCL’s Vendor list and also participation in future tenders of CPCL.

The Valedictory Function was presided over by Thiru T M Anbarasan, Hon’ble Minister of MSME, Government of Tamil Nadu wherein special address was delivered by our Shri Arvind Kumar, Managing Director – CPCL. The event was attended by CGM(Logistics), GM(MM & CC), DGMs (M&C) and other senior officials of M&C Department.
