Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd., signed a MOU with RGIPT (Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology) an premier institute of national importance, incorporated through an Act of Parliament to promote the research & innovation environment and to facilitate collaboration research work in the areas like Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Alternate renewable energy sources, Green Hydrogen, Carbon capturing & Utilization, Project management, Corrosion engineering etc.
During the MOU signing ceremony, MD, CPCL emphasized the importance of Industry-Academia collaboration to produce next generation of scholars and technologies at the speed required for the market. During the ceremony, Dr. A.S.K. Sinha, Director, RGIPT, Dr. Balathanigaimani, Dean, RGIPT, senior officials from CPCL, Scholars and faculties of RGIPT were also present.
