An interaction meet with Oil and Gas company officials was held on 14th July, 2023 at Chennai. Shri Rameswar Teli, Hon. Minister of State – Petroleum & Natural Gas and Labour & Employment chaired the meet. Shri Arvind Kumar, MD, CPCL participated in the meet.
Presentations were made by CPCL, ONGC, BPCL, HPCL and IOCL showcasing their operational performances, Welfare measures for Contract Workers, CSR activities etc.
From CPCL side, Shri V Sriram GM (CP & BD) made a presentation on CPCL’s chequered history and performance and it was well received by the Hon. Minister, who also lauded CPCians for the best-ever annual performance during the FY 2022-23 and wished CPCL to achieve many more such laurels in future.
Shri Rameswar Teli appreciated all oil companies for a continuous supply of Petroleum products during the hard times viz covid-19 pandemic and even at high crude oil price scenario with under recoveries. He also appreciated the various welfare measures taken by the Industry towards labour development.
