CPCL receives “Certificate of Appreciation” from Ministry of MSME for the highest procurement amongst Mini-ratna (CPSEs)
CPCL has received the Certificate of Appreciation for the highest procurement amongst Mini-ratna Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) from SC-ST category under Micro, Small, Enterprises (MSEs) during the financial year 2021-22 from the Ministry of MSME. The Certificate of Appreciation was presented at the CPSE Conclave on Public Procurement Policy at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on 18.11.2022. The Conclave was inaugurated by Mr.Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Hon’ble Minister of State for Micro Small Medium Enterprises.
CPCL has received the Prestigious “Mahatma Award 2022 for CSR Excellence”.
The Mahatma Award recognizes and celebrates impact leaders and change-makers across the globe. The award was received by Mr.Rajeev Ailawadi, Director (Finance) and Mr.Gomuraj, Deputy General Manager (Administration) at a function held in Delhi on 01.10.2022.
National Award for Excellence in CSR & Sustainability for the category “Best COVID 19 Solution for Safeguarding the Vulnerable”.

The “Petrofed Innovator of the Year-Team” award for the year 2013 was bagged by Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) jointly with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). The award was presented for the innovation in the Indigenous development and commercial application technology for “Co-processing of Non-edible Vegetable Oils in Petroleum Refineries” leading to better product quality. Demonstration of this technology was successfully carried out in CPCL’s Plant-13 (Diesel Hydrotreater) and the end product was obtained with high quality as envisaged.
